Meng Inthirath
Meng Inthirath and her family were refugees from Laos after the Vietnam War. Her works are inspired by the mythological creatures from the stories her parents told her growing up. The stories always made her feel wholesome even when they had nothing at all. She wants to share those happy feelings, while weaving in elements of both her heritage and from her naturalized culture.
